Scenario - you've been talking to someone on fab, you're going to their house for the first time

Would the way it's decorated put you off them? Or would just the house being clean be enough?

I have a coal fire so that's never going to happen.

To be fair I think we would be a bit wary if someone offered to accommodate and then went on to say they didn’t have a sink .

Renovation is fine , but it may be wise to not to offer to accommodate till it’s finished .

Clean and tidy is fine.

Met a fella who was having work done on his place and he had no carpets or floorboards. Had to step across the joists. He had Acro Props holding up the ceilings downstairs too... Apart from looking a bit like a building site it was mostly clean though

Nice fella, I wonder if he is still on here?

"As long as it looks clean an smell nice. "

I wouldn’t dream of inviting anyone over without making an effort to tidy and clean beforehand, and our house is generally good in that way, most of the time.

But what pisses me off, and has really made us start using clubs now, are the guys, yes it’s just guys that arrange a meet with us and any or all of the below happens.

- we take time off work ie finish early to do the above for no shows or late cry offs

- give out our address for no shows

So now I’ve had a gut full of the lack of respect shown for our Home meets, we now get guys moaning because they don’t meet at clubs ( too scared, too far, can’t get there, blah blah).

Being invited to someone’s home is a privelige.

My house is various shades of beige and light brown and oak floors. Even my cat is beige and brown, so I'm no Ann Maurice...but a clean environment is important. I met someone who lived in a hmo bedsit in a converted hotel. The occupants were mainly single men and there was only two bathrooms a floor...I asked him to drive me home.

"Cleanliness is the most important thing for me.

Can you get cleanliness in Derbyshire?

You get little pockets of cleanliness in amongst the shite.

Good job you've got a sense of humour "

I know right or else you'd be in for it!

Cleanilinss matters.

Decor etc doesn't matter a jot. Why would anyone be put off by anything materialistic?

so near and yet so far....

I’m in rented, it’s clean but omg the decor...

It does take a level of trust to invite someme back to yours.

...Up on the Downs

On the other hand, I really enjoy meeting in a nice home with tasteful decor - I am sensual in all ways and the effect their home has on every one of my senses really matters to me.

Not the gritty ones or decor so loud you can hear it.

One man I used to see had a bedroom like a really good hotel. His ensuite was substantial.

If it's too tidy I feel scared to move, in case I mess something up.

I've met a few men who must have OCD.

I got the piss taken out of me for not having much furniture. And the piss taken out of a poster in my bedroom.

It irritated me. And played on my mind.

I do occasionally have shavings on the floor from the rabbits, daughter doesn't wipe her feet and neither do they. But they aren't knee deep, I hoover nearly every day and the rabbits are kept clean.

London

Once went to the party at someone's house which had an overflowing bin and the taps didn't work.

We suddenly came over all tired and had to leave...
