Madness in my opinion. About 10 years ago the original was played on Radio 2 and loads of people phoned in asking who'd murdered Madness' song, I'd not say the original was that bad though.

One of the joys of Madness is their ability to take an original song and make it their own by making it different and that's exactly what they did with It Must Be Love - so my answer is neither is better as they're distinctly different enough to stand up in their own right  |

I prefer the Madness cover as it is nostalgic for me.
I love Labi Siffre’s “I got the...” though, listen out for the familiar hook at the 2m10 point!
