Do you think humans will colonise Mars? If so, when?

Yes, but if you mean self sustainable settlements then I think hundreds of years from now.

Quite possibly, yes. As for when, long after you or I have shuffled from our mortal coils.

Question 2:

How long after we’ve colonised mars will humans inevitably start killing each other in wars?

We seem to have bypassed the Moon, surely that has to be the first place to construct somewhere that we can hopefully learn and return from. Mars is pretty much a one way ticket as far as I can see

If we want to get out of the teir 0 civilisation we're stuck in now we have to.... not to mention ensuring the continuation of the species. Plus you do know how much raw materials are sitting right on its doorstep...enoughy to elevate us to a tier 1 at the very least

They talk about Mars and colonising it. Yet we can't do the same with our own planet.

We could always send the cast of love island and the like to mars on a “mission” to test the atmosphere and see if it’s safe not to wear breathing equipment

Probably, I'd visit but sod living on a barren planet like that! Earth may have it's issues but at least it has forests, jungles, grass, blue seas, beaches etc

I hope not as we have ruined one planet too many.

I'm guessing that some will go, aided by robotic building systems. I'm assuming that AI and robotics could complete this in 0 to 30 years.

Sending rockets from earth is also damaging to our world and I'd prefer tighter restrictions.

Priorities should be on the populations of life including humans here and improving health and wellbeing.
