meets and events

quick question

in the meets and events section someone has a meet up

it gives an option to fab the meet

what exactly is the point in fabbing it ?

As far as i am aware the poster of the meet dosent see that youve fabbed it so what is the idea of it ??

be a bit like fabbing a pic and the person not knowing youve fabbed it .

is it so the website can monitor it or what ?

I'm sure I read somewhere it was a feature they were gonna bring in but didn't and the ability to fab just hasn't been removed.

I understand, it was an attempt at humour based on people putting filters on things in an attempt to get more fabs, ignore me!
