There and to the left a bit

I can't remember any specific lines but Frasier was one of my favourite comedies ever that was superbly written.

A couple of scenes that stick out both Nials/Daphne related - there's one where they're chopping veg together and start singing that is just beautifully observed and another where he takes her dancing that is similarly beautiful

Got them all on DVD! So many.

I did love the last series when Fraiser's first wife returns, and actress who's had one successful part, and says to Kelsey Grammar:

"Do you have any idea what it's like to play the same role for 20 years!"

Wonderful show. I must know almost every episode by heart but I never get bored of it.

US comedy at its best

Just around the corner

I always loved the trivial fact that several of the cast members appeared on the cover of Time magazine, but that the first to do so was Eddie the Jack Russel.

I love the episode where Roz works out Fraiser is dating a coworker and tells him he's "never to make a crack about my dating life ever again, I don't care if I start dating a lumber camp."

Dear Roz, dear sweet Roz, dear sweet horny Roz.

Niles: "Frasier, you're my brother. That entitles you to my bone marrow and one of my kidneys, but this is an imposition!"

"Frasier to Roz - "You mean you haven't been pining for me since we slept together?"

Roz - "God, no! Weren't you there??"

"

And some return fire:

"So that's it, huh? No Americans left."
