"Are ATOS still involved or have they been booted out yet?"
Capita runs one lot area of PIP and the other two are run by ATOS.
Separately ATOS lost their contract to do Work Capability Assessments for ESA in 2014, and it was taken over by Maximus who have it till 2020 (but the issue is the design so Maximus are delivering to the design ATOS were - although incremental changes over evolution of contracts, but not because of Maximus’ delivery). |

Great stuff
I’ve had several people tell me I should apply. The problem is I don’t need to most of the time. But when I do it would be nice to have that bit of support.
There’s certainly other things I’d take in favour of PIP though.
I’m sort of in no mans land, I’m covered at work etc by the disabilities act but can’t have things such as a blue parking badge or any financial support. |

good for you.
Im involved in one at moment though someone else.
through me ive noticed something in the paperwork thats not right.
its in the middle of an appeal if we win the case, as its a clear cut case on what has been appealed.
it creates a precedence for everyone that has visited the place for years.
I will also be releasing this info onto the web for others to use it as well. |

"I’m addition to being awarded PIP you can claim for 25% off your council tax bill which is often worth claiming PIP for this alone similiar to single persons discount "
You can also have it back dated up to 3 months |

"It's a benefit to help people who struggle day to day with every day tasks or getting around on their own I believe!
Hmmmm
"
I wasn’t sure that’s what OP meant. Perhaps I’ve missed another thread explaining why OP received it....
Yes I know what PIP the benefit is all too well. During the last ten months of my husbands life, we relied heavily on it to make ends meet. |
