I have wondered this before, dont know if they keep a copy or can see it on a screen behind the counter. We use our own printer at home to be on the safe side haha

I’m pretty sure they are monitored in some places . I wouldn’t want a kid passing by to see what’s on the screen might create an awkward situation in middle of a supermarket .

I can't imagine that the kiosks would keep a copy of anything, but don't quote me on that. I guess if they are digital now, like everything else is, then the data will stay there and be potentially recoverable.

Home printers are cheap as anything now, it's only the ink which can cost a bit.

Never forget that time in boots when a load of cock came up on the screen! Now you pre select the pics you want so only they show on the screen.

Boots have signs saying the screens are monitored and will withhold photographs, Morrison’s also have a similar notice.

We buy bottles of ink from Wilkinsons...They come with syringes and new stoppers and plenty of youtube vids to show how and where the re-fill point is.

use my own printer and also use continuous ink system as well.

since getting a digital camera years ago never used a kiosk or photo place since.

only photo that was done in a photo place was a family photo in a large frame everything else all done for them.

I would be more worried about who was looking over my shoulder as I was selecting and printing them, rather than where they might end up.

I have a dye-sublimation printer which prints lab quality images in either 6x4 or 9x6 ... it’s the same type of machine gags in the instant print machines .... I can also photoshop images if people want me to. ... PM me with your thoughts or ideas
