This happened to me a couple of years ago, turns out it was the electric motor bit that controls the window. Cost me £300 to get it fixed!

If it's electic you may need to home it. Put it all the way down and hold the switch for 15 seconds I think. Then try putting it up

This, it happens to our car when it hasn't been used for a while. Hold button down for 15seconds then see if it will go up and hold button again for 15seconds

I had an electric window fixed 2 years ago..cost 160 notes...wasnt the motor..just the ..the..thing..you know..like um...yhe metal bit that pushes the window up...you COULD try some wd40 down into the slot.

Put the opposite window down, get your car resprayed orange. Paint a Confederate flag on the roof. That's what I'd do.

can you hear the motor working or trying to work/clicking, if not check the fuse and where the wires go from the car into the door. If you an hear noise from the motor then door panel off and knock on the motor, sometimes the regulator wires break or chew up if they look ok tap the motor, if you got power to the motor it'll be replace the motor or regulator (the bit that holds the window and moves it up and down)
