That's why I never go to the hospital, in case they find something wrong with me.

Apparently poor Barry Sheen believed quack remedies on the web and stopped taking his prescribed medication with fatal consequences.

I tend to self diagnose things I would have previously seen my gp about. Its so difficult to get an appointment that I find it easier to consult Dr Google

I can get an appointment with my gp if I need one. That's why I go there.

I can get an appointment for an urgent matter if I walk round at 8 am which is fine. If its a non urgent matter its a three week wait usually. Unfortunately our surgery has lost so many doctors over the last year that they're struggling.

I'm healthier than I have ever been but Dr Google suggests I have several terminal conditions. Of course I do have one - life.

That's sad. Glad it isn't like that here

BRIDPORT

The last time I Googled symptoms I had had, I decided to get an emergency same day appointment. When I saw the doctor he gave me a bollocking for not coming in sooner!

A couple of yrs ago i checked out my symptoms on Google and was convinced i had MS, so when i finally got a drs appt i was referred to a neurologist as my gp could not decide whether it was that or fibromyalgia..

Thankfully it was the latter but the gp couldnt diagnose it anyway..

But it did stop me looking
