100mph in my car, but it was on a quiet country road where I had good clear vision ahead of me and no speed cameras around.
I want to do high speed on a motorbike as a passenger, but just need someone willing to take me. |

"Ummmm...well I made it from Milton Keynes to East Midlands airport in 25 mins.
In my defence it was 5am on a Saturday morning and the roads were dead"
Glad you are still alive |

Accelerated? Well, without accurate timing gear, I can only guess that it's somewhere close to the manufacturers figures of about 4.7 to 60mph.
Top end? Well, a speed that would have been more than enough to have my license torn up into tiny little bits. And burnt. |

"You can't get a speed ticket for accelerating, you only get one for breaking the speed limit, obviously not a physicist! "
Hate to be pedantic, but you actually can now, if it's deemed that you're "racing" someone else away from the lights. I suspect it comes under driving without due care and attention but not sure. |

Agree, it will be for "without due care..." but not accelerating. |

"What’s the fastest have you accelerated in your car/bike?
Let’s give some speeding tickets
140mph. When I realized the M6 had bends"
Try some track days if you haven't already....., least in Europe you just get slapped with big fine (on spot mostly) rather than UK where throw book at you and love to confiscate |
