"Private taxi over both of them, But having recently used Uber I would definitely use them more often
Why’s that "
The only time I use a black cab is when I have been out drinking and come across them on the way home, I've have to many bad experience with black cabs, Cherry picking customers |

Are there not thousands of options in London? Certainly a few dozen in Bristol |

I use mini-cabs and black cabs if I have to use a cab. That's rare as I have an Oyster card and a car.

Black cab..i drive one in Edinburgh.. .never knew I could pick and choose...must be a London thing...though I won't take you if you are 1-unconsious-2-all covered with sick-3-so pissed you can't remember where you live-4-carrying hot food...broke that rule last week and was rewarded with melted pizza all over the seats and floor.. .ignorant cunts!. |

I try amd avoid both. Unfortunately private cabs aren't the best value round here so the best option is driving myself. But I would only use uber if there was literally no other option |

Before Uber - I was d*unk lost once in the early hours of the morning and found a black cab (relief!) Said I only had £20 head towards my house I'll catch a bus. He drives 2-3 miles and says there's a cash machine near by if I need it. I refuse get off and get a bus.
After Uber - £25 from central London to East 10 miles+. So easy to use too. |

If we ever need a taxi we will always use a local private hire company with drivers registered and licenced by the local council. Uber drivers are not licensed by our local council and any operating here are licenced by Wolverhampton council |
