I worry that this is the only ‘social’ interaction you have, as it appears that you crave attention and yet reject it at the same time. You project that you have had a very sheltered and protected existence and struggle to understand appropriate human contact.

You do come across as an utter twunt at times, but I suspect there’s a deep seated reason for this.

I’m sure you’re a normal bloke and all but have attitudes that seem to be at odds with what you’re looking for. I don't think you have put a negative vibe on the forum. I think, you've got people thinking.

I also think, as has been already voiced here that you should get out more.

You're aware you don't have the greatest social skills, rather than rely on others to give you answer you won't accept anyway, look for help from other places. Those that have real experience in that field.

I think you're misunderstood. I think some people have taken a dislike to you and they will attack you no matter what you say. I think that sometimes you can be blunt but you need to realise that what you say can hurt people.

Believe me, if you are constantly getting abuse from people no matter what you say, you get defensive. Electronic engineering. Everyone has gone home for summer now. I wasn't even that social with people around me. I'd talk and stuff. There was 2 groups of people I'd go out with. But when money dried up just didn't keep in touch. I'm really not great at being social.

Why not concentrate on making friends and leave the bedroom stuff for now? I think you might be the kind of person that needs to be friends first. There's nothing wrong with being like that. Go to an animal rescue place and offer your services . They are always keen to have assistance. Take the dogs out to the parks . Run with them. People will smile at you and will talk with you .

Offer help at soup kitchens in the area.chat with other kind people that assist those less fortunate than you.

Neither of those options will cost you a dime. You may feel better for helping others.

I'm on my first year.

I took the btec route that you start at 16. Did the first diploma because I was a fuck about in school (1 year). Got an apprenticeship and they couldn't keep me on. So I couldn't start the second course till I was 18. I did my extended diploma (2y) and then went onto my advanced diploma (hnd) that went on fir 2 years. I failed the last year due to issues at home. And have to redo them two years at uni in my current course.

I'd suggest therapy, you lack empathy and are pretty narcissistic, both traits difficult to form relationships around. Maybe address those issues and things will change for you ?
