Well, I can safely say I have had enough exercise today.

30 minute power walk at 2pm

40 minutes in the gym at 5pm

30 minutes of weights in the lounge tonight about 8pm

And to top it off, I have just inflated a gym ball I bought from Amazon and that was a work out all of it's own!!

I'm gonna sleep tonight that's for sure!!

So ...

What exercise have YOU done today (and no, sex doesn't count )

There's no "just" about it, it's great exercise.

I have to say I barely know myself sometimes, just 2 years ago I was ten stone heavier, and hadn't done any exercise since about 1994.

Now I have a new lease of life, better health and loving doing exercise.

One of the best things I have ever done (and it gave me the confidence to join this site too ) x

I sprained my ankle at work last night, still managed to teach my boxing class whilst elevating it on a bench with an ice pack ..

I struggle doing it anti clockwise. I can go for ages clockwise but just can't get coordinated going the other way so well.

High intensity interval training. I've been trying to do it every 3rd day. 5 exercises for a minute each, break for 30 secs repeat 5 times.

The are loads of vids on you tube. I love zumba but I wanted to try something different.

It's amazing what good photography can do...

I have a lovely baby belly and large boobs and could probably do with losing an inch or so all round... but I don't care as I like my curves and am doc says I'm fit n healthy.

I love walking. The only thing I don't like about it is when you've walked 5 miles, and your phone tells you that you've only burned about 200 kcalories. Sob.

Yeah that raised my blood pressure which I guess counts as some kind cardio work out

Other than that just walking a lot, like every day

I tend to avoid his threads now that my blood pressure is under control!

Walking is good

I love walking. The only thing I don't like about it is when you've walked 5 miles, and your phone tells you that you've only burned about 200 kcalories. Sob. "

But think of all the toning that's going on

From my experience today its just bodyweight HIIT training.... Burpees.... Yuck!

Haven't done Burpees since I trained in a specific career in 1987/88

I've been in the pool after work.

I swim @40 lengths three times a week (I'm slow) plus on a Tuesday & Thursday I stay for aqua aerobics straight afterwards.

At my first aqua class, was amazed when the instructor threw large sponge dumbbells in the water - not realising how heavy they very soon become once they've absorbed vast quantities of water!

These workouts are really helping me tone up whilst I'm losing weight - I'm becoming slightly obsessed with the pool for some reason x

Nothing today (beyond walking to work and being on my feet all day) as it’s a rest day, but yesterday was hill reps with my running club for 50 mins. I kind of feel I earned my rest!

Yes I did swimming last year but not had the opportunity to for a while x

Hiding in the shadows

I've just spent 40 mins running round the park in the dark.

I'm exhausted!

I wasn't attempting to excercise, my bat shit mad chihuahua got out her harness, & assumed me running after her was a game of chase!

Anyone watching, me phone in hand in torch mode leaping round, attempting rugby tackles must have had a good laugh.

Worst of all the whole time, I coukd actually hear the Benny Hill theme tune in my head

There's no "just" about it, it's great exercise.

I have to say I barely know myself sometimes, just 2 years ago I was ten stone heavier, and hadn't done any exercise since about 1994.

Now I have a new lease of life, better health and loving doing exercise.

One of the best things I have ever done (and it gave me the confidence to join this site too ) x"
