Belton

I am now in day 3 of what i would call the hibernation...my SO would call it man-flu...not actually having a voice to complain with i must have very expressive eyebrows is all I'm saying on that subject...anyway the majority of the time has been spent asleep...i have been feeling wiped out after doing smallest thing so sleep comes very naturally... i am now feeling like i have slept enough...and i can nap for England!

Can we ever have to much sleep??

9 hours is my natural pattern, but I can up that by 1 or even 2 hours at weekends. They say intelligent people sleep a lot. Well I say it.

I could sleep for Wales! We should have an international. Anyone else? I reckon I'd easily win the Sleep 6 nations.

Just a background character

Christ I'd love to sleep that long, did when I was a teenager. These days 6 or 7 hours broken sleep at best!

Even if I had the opportunity I don't think I would sleep that long!

I have always envied the 8hrs unbroken set. Many is the night I've lied awake watching someone sleep a perfect 8 hours and wake as fresh as the virgin snow.

Cunts.

Too much sleep is just as toxic in the long term as too little sleep.

I'm in the too little sleep camp.

Sometimes i don't get any for about 36 hours. Then 4-5 broken. Rarely, when i really hit a wall and am about fit to drop, about 7.

"Have you tried mediation "

I've tried most things over the years. I find listening to sand being played with, helps, of all things haha.

Aww that's not good. There are some really great AMSR videos on YouTube. There are different sounds you could play around with. Find one that suits you..... Hopefully anyway

I think you can sleep too much but if you're ill you need to sleep.

Not getting enough sleep seems to be more of a problem than too much though.

I rarely have a problem sleeping, Mr N on the other hand does. He's often kept awake by pain but finds unbroken sleep elusive anyway and the slightest noise will wake him.
