Help
Do any of you have a 'Halogen Oven thing'?
I just got one and am using it for the first time, the lamp is switching on and off every few seconds... is that how it regulates? or is it gonna explode?

Hi, dont worry its meant to do that.
It heats itself up, then the thermostat kicks in every so many seconds.
you may have to monitor what your cooking, as i found it didnt cook food evenly (even though its supposed to!) |

I went and consulted Dr G.O.Ogle and the Flavourwave Trbo Oven has the following entry inthe FAQ section :
"It is normal for the interior heater light to turn off and on in cycles, this is part of normal operation in order to cook faster than conventional ovens and will cook foods more evenly than a microwave oven."
Geeks. We swing too!
