Give blood on the local Rodio ..

Was going into too town had car Radio on 3 times add for giving blood as low on some and thay need local people too.. Do you think one day it will be like USA here where thay pay people for there blood ? |

i give blood and im happy to do so if it could help someone who could live 
but some people think its a given that the blood will always be available
as for payment a cup of coffee is payment enough for me
good for them using the ads it may target a bigger audience |

hope not !! totally disagree with that . giving blood is just something that if you can do you should do in my opinion . Its not harming you and can help to save someones life afterall . Having to pay people for something like that is rediculous .  |

Last time I went to give blood (years ago), I was told that I couldn't donate because I have sex with bisexual guys. It didn't matter that I had SAFE sex with bi men, or that they'd be thoroughly screening it anyway. I realise that they have to minimise the risks of infected blood, but if supplies are so low, they should stop being so damn picky about who they let give blood. IMHO. |

It took me a long time to pluck up the courage to go as I have an awful needle phobia that I have managed to get under control so I trotted along dead chuffed I could finally do my bit only to be told that because I have sex (protected) with bi guys I cannot give blood I was livid and told them how ridiculous I felt it was in no uncertain terms, worst bit was having to think of a reason I could give my son who was with me giving blood at the same time |

bearing in mind i lost 7 pints last week and was close to needing some myself.. i would strongly encourage people to go and do it.......

i stopped giving bloody years ago when it came out they was selling it to other countries then had the cheek to ask people to give more cause they was low
so they can do what they like now cause they not doing it with my blood  |

if they did/doing that i wouldnt do it . i dont mind if they genuinly need blood to help folk out but to go out and make a profit from other peoples generosity is wrong . |
