Which scene in a movie or series had the best song possible for the scenario?
I personally think "I need a hero" in Shrek 2 and "Mr blue sky" in guardians of the galaxy 2. I'm sure I could think of better but them too stick out |

The scene in Red Dragon when the guy bursts through a window in time to the crescendo of a song by The Electric Prunes. |

Not a movie but a BBC docu-drama about Donald Cambell called "Across the Lake"... Marillions Out of This World
https://youtu.be/n3ftZfB-VNQ
Its about 8 minutes long but I swear the music and lyrics perfectly capture the mood and the timing is such that at the point of.... well my heart actually stops and misses a beat or two. Its an incredible piece. |

Hubby took me to his grave side when he was getting custom stocks made. Seems strange looking across the lake knowing he was in there for so long till they found him |

That Shrek 2 scene is amazing, and Christ that Jennifer Saunders can sing can't she!?!?
I'd nominate American Trilogy at the end of Kick Ass. Just too much fun. |

One scene stands out for me as the music is completely alien to whats going on...
I think it's Layer Cake... a bloke gets set about in a cafe and "Ordinary World" is the sound you hear above all else. |

The opening scene from that rare beast (a good Nicolas Cage movie) Wild At Heart - the juxtaposition between the kind of beboppy jazz (Glenn Miller) and then Powermad Slaughterhouse kicks in:

Vengeance by Zack Hemsey during the Home Mart fight at the end of The Equalizer.
Never thought I'd say this but Ashes by Celine Dion during the Deadpool 2 opening credits.
I'm sure there's more but I can only think of those at the moment. |

It sounds suspiciously like ''Do you wanna build a snowman?'' |

Burn is an awesome choice. I'd also say Dead Souls by Nine Inch Nails from the Crow too. Not to mention the rooftop guitar solo he does.
I'm gonna add Gortoz a Ran from Black Hawk Down, I can't remember when it plays but I think it's the main theme. |

And snakedriver by jesus and mary chain. I bought the soundtrack and rinsed it back in the day. That film's almost a forgotten cult classic these days. |

After Burn and Dead Souls, Milquetoast by Helmet was my jam. |
