aka Bizarre Bumps.
.
I’m always intrigued when a thread with dozens of replies suddenly lands -plonk- at the top of the page, you open it up, and see that the OP was written 14 weeks ago. And all of the replies were written fourteen weeks ago, until you get to the very end; ‘6 minutes ago’.
It’s especially fun when the newest reply is purely there to thumbs-up an earlier post or, with weighty tone, imparts some crucial knowledge that had already been discussed when the thread was initially active.
I sincerely hope that this is a result of some green arrow rabbit-holing, where someone is so keen to show support for another’s precious posts that they lose track of where they are. The alternative is that they’re reading through pages and pages of threads, never finding something worth commenting on for hours on end.
Keep up the good work, oh soldiers of Fab forum fortune. Select the juiciest of cherries to resurrect for our delight. Save our abandoned threads from oblivion, let them not torment in obscurity. Fight the good fight, and every thread will die happy with 175 considered, ground-breaking replies. |

I squirrel about under the forum floorboards reading old threads. Sometimes I forget where I am, amongst the dusty Y-fronts, rat droppings and empty condom packets, and do a to something random.
Other times I think something is interesting enough for a bump. The day forum crowd is often different to the night crowd so there will be a different slant on the same thread once it's bumped.
Sometimes I do a forum search and comment on something ancient. Those times I often get told off though. |

"Sometimes they’re bumped after a year.
Why? Just, why?"
Someone may have used their noggin’ and used the search function instead of asking ‘how big is too big’ all over again in a new thread |

The randomness of an old thread popping up from time to time does amuse me, as does pondering why it has been sought out and resurrected in the first place. A Fab miracle.

Another thing I love, is when someone writes a novel on a thread and someone bumps it with a ‘this’ comment underneath. Thanks for that input and parting your wisdom with zero effort. |

I boobs went through a mad hour of commenting on every thread that I could find in the searches that mentioned cock size so about 50 came up to the top. It amused me and passed the time on a train journey |

I have to admit I have added to threads that are over a year old without realising as it is one of these ressurected threads |
