Who is old enough to remember putting coins in as a kid to play outrun or operation wolf.

These are fond memories of my child hood with my dad in Spain.

At home it was more zx spectrum then the Commodore 64.

Now reliving the old memories at home with a retropi

I loved my Amstrad. Had to fire it up before dinner though as it took twenty minutes to load

I think I have some Amstrad games on the retropi but not played them since never owning an Amstrad. But yes loading games was a good time to go and make a cup of tea or go to the shop

"Chucky Egg on the Amstrad CPC464 was my favorite.."

Played Chucky egg on the internet few months back. I think its public domain now.

Still great and only half remembering the puzzles made it a lot of fun. xx

a driving machine called ridge racer took a fortune as did golf machines in golf clubs.

i once bought a brand new 7x4 pool table for £900, emptied it a month later £3300 in £1 coins in the cash box

Commodore 64 was a lot better then the old spectrum that one you needed the volume to be right if not you have to try it again.

They look great just don't have the room as the upright arcade machine takes up less space

I have a spectrum, commodore vic 20 and a commodore 64, all working and with a few games. There is also a few sites where you can download all the old games and play them on emulators or I think you can turn them into wav files and play them on the original machines
