Just listening to the live version of Garry Moore's still got the blues for you, and I have got goose bumps.

Any songs have that effect in you

BRIDPORT

Every time I hear the intro of Giving It All Away by Roger Daltry it gives me goose bumps on the back of my neck in anticipation of what I think is the best song he’s ever sung.

The other song that always does it without fail every time is the theme song from The Likely Lads it evokes a very specific memory, has been known to make me a bit emotional too.

Yes, there are a few, but they tend to bring on goosebumps and make me teary at the same time

Tears in heaven- Eric Clapton, for obvious reasons!

Wind beneath my wings- Better Midler, no need for explaining this one!

I'm blue- Eiffel 65, due to it being a crazy mares funeral song! Everytime I hear it I smile and have goosebumps x

Nick Cave - I Need You

The whole album really. You can hear his grief in his voice at times.

Into the West

Forever Autumn

Thunderchild

Sound of Silence

I am a Rock

Love on the Rocks

Learn to be Lonely

Other music moves me in different ways, but this would fall into goosebumps..

"How to Disappear Completely" by Radiohead.

Made me so nauseous the first few times I heard it I literally had to lie on my bed and have the room move around me.

Perfect Kiss by New Order for goosebumps. The rare 10 minute version just builds and builds, then crescendos into "perfection" at the end.

Groovy x

Dire Straits Brothers In Arms, Fleetwood Mac Songbird and The Eagles Desperado. All make me so emotional, but alot of music does. These three especially. Beautifully haunting

Love that one too.

Some for me would be:

Atmosphere by Joy Division.

War of the Worlds by Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly.

Especially the line ‘the next time that you need me don’t expect a call’.

Out to Get You by James

But hands down the most heart wrenchingly beautiful, goosies every time song has to be This Mortal Coil’s cover of Song to the Siren, sung by Liz Fraser from The Cocteau Twins. If you don’t know it, have a listen. It’s stunning.

There's a rainbow above you.

Try Eva Cassidy Songbird.

She could sing the phone book and make my spine tingle...

The Weight of the World by Editors is another.

Someone significant in my life at the time was on life support, and I listened to this song over and over again. It became even more pertinent when he started to recover.

“You touch my face, God whispers in my ears, there are tears in my eyes, love replaces fear”

This was over 10 years ago and still to this day this song hits me right in the feels.

That's a long time in the shower Peach, You're going to be all wrinkly! We'll have to make a date. You and me in a darkened room with a couple of bottles of wine and the entire soundtrack right through. Just cuddles. No funny business or getting jiggy. I know you and your penchant for quiet, cranky older guys with a traumatic past and a scary skillset....

Fareham

May it Be - Enya. Played at my Dad's funeral.

May it be an evening star

Shines down upon you

May it be when darkness falls

Your heart will be true

You walk a lonely road

Oh! How far you are from home

Mornië utúlië (Darkness has come)

Believe and you will find your way

Mornië alantië (Darkness has fallen)

A promise lives within you now

I get goosebumps when I hear it... it's so haunting and beautiful.
