What is the point of wasps other than to inflict pain on any poor bugger that comes in contact with the feckin annoying things?!
Anyone?
Just stood barefoot on one on my bathroom floor. Considering gnawing my foot off just to get rid of the pain
Sweet baby Jesus take me now |

"Poor boys one sting and they die love wasps and bees they do get a raw deal x"
I love bees. They sting as a last resort. They die after so they are careful.
Wasps sting for the sake of it. Wasps are bastards. |

Did the wasp perish during this incident? |

Can't stand wasps. Insects don't generally bother me, but those fuckers have me screeching like a banshee and running round like a tit with arms flailing.
Bees however I don't mind unless they land on my head. Then the above reaction tends to ensue. |

"Ouch!
Unfortunately we need them for pollination etc but I agree they don't need to be such smug nasty bastards about it! "
Wasps don't pollinate, that's bees. Wasps are nothing but a pest XXX |

Im more of a bee fan. They pollinate but go about their business in a peaceful manner, wasps are just in a permanent bad mood and taking it out on the innocent.I was stung by a bumble bee once and it didn't even hurt that much,it was such a shame that the poor guy died.He didn't deserve it.
OP....lemon juice, tomato juice, vinegar. The citric or acetic acid will neutralise the wasp sting.I hope it gets better,Can anyone think of a worse place to be stung? |

"Is it just me who likes wasps?
I think they look so cool in there little striped jumpers."
Close up or under a microscope, they are beautiful, fascinating to study but that doesn't make them any less nasty. |

I was told that their role in the food chain is to eat greenfly.Well, ladybirds do that too and nobody has a bad word to say about them.
It's like those jellyfish that are so poisonous they can kill you just by thinking about it and all they eat is plankton....it's just overkill, totally unnecessary.
(I know, that's 3 posts from me on the subject. That just shows how strongly I feel about it.Nature should be all cute and cuddly, not excessively venomous and stingy). |

Missed one by a hairs breadth this morning on my bathroom floor. Luckily he was very drowsy so easy to hoick up in a bit of loo roll and flush. He got perilously close though... |
