What moments do you remember most.

It could be from a Film, news, soap etc and be Funny, sad, scary etc

Sad..Being out at work and hearing the twin towers story break then going into a customers and seeing 10 staff members all sat around a tv watching it.

Funny... Del Boys chandelier sketch

The twin towers thing is called a flashbulb memory. When we receive a big piece of news (can be personal or not), we often have very vivid memories of insignificant details about what we were doing at the time.

Den of Iniquity

I certainly remember the morning I learned Diana's death. I'd pulled in a nightclub the night before and I woke up to the radio paying tributes. I was still groggy and hungover but fucked her again , woke up and went to football training still none the wiser . I didn't believe the guys when they told me as I felt sick

I saved a child's life once. Yeah I'm a hero, it's just how I roll. It was the old runaway pram hurtling down a grass bank towards a road and I managed to catch it just in time. The father came running upto me and I said "there you go, buddy".

"Oh" he said, and they walked off. That was it. I was expecting a statue or a medal, but didn't even get a thank you.

I remember that. Won't bother next time.

I remember it like it was yesterday. I was sat on the sofa breastfeeding my youngest and on the phone with my best friend, the news was on telly and we were both silently watching with each other in horror. The tears were streaming down my face and my son looked up at me from my breast and smiled, completely innocent and unaware of what was going on in the world. I remember being fearful for his future. I also remember that horrible guilty feeling of thank god it didn't directly affect us.
