is it just me or are a lot of members more interested in just chatting lately, ive seen a lot of statuses and even a few threads asking to chat on various platforms, have most given up and trying to meet now and just use the site for chat only? |

yes i can relate to that, tried a few times on our couples profile, weve given up trying to arrange for another guy to join us, very chatty until the day comes, then nothing  |

There do seem to be a vast number of “chatters” of late. Not my thing, but each to their own. I like real people, so I’m off to a club to chat outside the virtual sphere tonight. |

Glad it's not just me.
Seems to be a lot of messages not even read, I understand some get swamped and can't reply but not even open it?
Maybe it's just to encourage lots of messages to feel popular?

Lots of people meet, the easiest way to shut down the fakes and timewasters is not to give them what they want. Don't chat on other platforms don't give them the sex chat they are after and they will go elsewhere and you are left with the genuine people. |

Tried to chase a meet a for 2 weeks just a real life chat would have been enough

We think the same. Problem with clubs is you lose all ability to filter. I mean if you had anything that was a preference or even hard limit like age, sexuality blah blah. For me it’s safe sex and whilst i accept I need to look after myself I also don’t want to play with prolific barebackers, and with club meets you just don’t know. |

A lot of people have regulars they meet and go through phases of not meeting anyone new - real life gets in the way sometimes, but when it does people often still take part in the 'community' life of the forum. I think that's a normal healthy thing to do, so you may find a disproportionate number of 'chatters' on the forum. |

Lots of people are here only for chat and people who do meet probably have people they meet regularly so are not looking to meet new people.
Other people realise the site isn't a good place to meet people from and it is easier to go to a club or meet people at socials. |

I make it very clear on my profile what I’m here for, if it so happens that it ends up in an actual meet then it’s a bonus IMO |

I’m only here for the forums as I have my hands full right now getting to know someone. We shall see how it goes and if that can turn into a couples account. Wishful thinking but fingers crossed. |

I certainly wouldn't want to meet anyone i hadn't chatted to and found out a bit about first..
