Oh goodness.

One Summer In Italy by a woman called Sue Moorcroft. Bit chick litty, but I enjoyed the first novel I read of hers so much that I contacted her on Facebook.

I also recently started Whatever Happened To Margo by Margaret Durrell and Sleeping Beauties by Stephen King and Owen King, but I've just bought Ready Player Go, and now I don't know where I stand.

Love Jack Reacher, although why that got the smallest actor in the world to play him in the films took the edge off a bit!

I got a copy of To Kill a Mockingbird for a pound in a charity shop last week, as I couldn’t locate mine. Always a good read.

Alex cross, London bridges. I read the first 10 books back to back. I started this one over a year ago.. don't know why but I've lost my reading mojo, just don't want to pick it up. Even though it's great.

Used to love the Alex Cross books and would get through them in under a week but they started getting a bit samey for me and also got a little fed up generally of all the "James Patterson writing with..." approach

Love Life by Ray Kluun. Its taking me a long time because it is so deeply sad and honest that I can only bear to read short passages at any one time. Usually I would just discard the book but for some reason I can't with this one.

lol I inherited my aunt's extensive library, we had to build a room to accomodate it

. Add Mr Ns professional books, my already large collection of books and there's enough reading material for a lifetime. That's the main reason I visit the library every month or so and come home with half a dozen books...

I will have a go at Ulysses and if I find it impenetrable I'll put it in the charity shop pile.

I need some good books as I am attempting to read 20 books by the time I’m 40 (I’ve got 13 months!) I did say 40 but with my 40 by 40 list I’ve got I don’t think I’ll have time.

I usually read chick lit but want something I can get my teeth into but I do love a romance.

Only read On The Road by Kerouac, but went through a splurge of Bukowski a few years back - think I read Post Office, Factotum, Women and Ham on Rye. Love his writing, there's something so gritty and raw about it, but there's a kind of savage elegance at the same time - not in flowery prose or anything like that, but almost in the economy of his writing - there isn't a wasted word in there. Elmore Leonard is kind of similar

Just finished The Wronged by Kimberley Chambers.

Definitely recommend. If you like Jessie Keane or Martina Cole books, you'll love Kim's books too. You have to read her books in the correct order, otherwise they won't make sense.

Now started on The Passenger by Lisa Lutz.

Odd Arne Westad,The Cold War: A World History. An all encompassing take on this 20th century conflict focussing on the ideological issues as well as the main events. Well written and accessible for such a dense subject.

Just finished Terminator: Story In Action since I'm a screenwriting geek and now I'm moving onto Hellbent by Greg Hurwitz. I'd recommend his Orphan X series to anyone who likes spy thrillers like Jason Bourne.
