"Any or all of those OP. Perhaps she would mean he makes her feel loved and wanted. Appreciated and cared for. "
And able to be her true self, gives her encouragement to be the best her she can be |

Helped her reach her true potential in whatever way she wants.
Or-is a total dickhead who made her find the strength to tell him where to go and be determined not to let herself be treated that way again? |

Thank you ladies for your input
Gives a better idea of the choice of words.
As a man never had a woman say that
I thought things like that got said back in days of women not having independence etc.
Seemed old school thinking or I wrong that way.
Do women say things like that? |

Ive not really heard any women say it to be honest, the other way round maybe from a man. But agree with change has to come mostly from yourself. |

I smiled when I saw this post, when I met Ads I was in a real low point of my life, I didn’t like myself very much, my life was heading down a very dangerous and lonely path and he came along and changed my life completely, he was and still is the making of me, without him I wouldn’t have a job that I adore, I wouldn’t know how to love myself as a person or even look at myself and think ‘yeah she’s doing ok’, without him I would still be little miss negative, when I was married before I had no inclination to look after my ex husband but I do with ads, he taught me how to love someone. I can’t say for certain if he hadnt of come along that I wouldn’t have got out the mess I was in but I know it would have taken me a very long time.

Hmmm... interesting theory.
I was single and swinging along happily for 13 years before I met Cheffy. I can honestly say I was a strong, independant, single mother. I didn't need a man to be the making of me (I had lots of friends with benefits and lots more straightforward fuck buddies) I was busy enjoying my life.
But when I met Cheffy something clicked for me. Suddenly I was truly complete. I had found a man who loves me and I love him. We encourage each other to reach our full potentials. We comfort and support each other. We share the same dreams. So yes, he has made me.
A bit mushy and lovey dovey maybe, but its the truth. |
