"Define older OP. If you want old gits Southport is the place to be...
That’s because they like to retire to a nice place with nice places to go. "
Yup I love 'spoons on Lord St and The Coronation is a classy establishment too! Haha.
OP. Personally I'd say the Northern Quarter as it's got a chilled, friendly vibe. If you want something a bit more chavtastic get yourself down to The Printworks.
Last but not least, have a mooch round the Gay Village and then drop by at FAB Cafe (no link to this site!) quite often get some decent more mature ladies in there. |

Nah much too trashy for me, you and the other old riff raff can keep those. I prefer the Vincent or the bold, Peaky Blinders is good for a few pints too. I prefer to stay away from the kinds of places you frequent. |

Did the not give away the sarcasm in my last post?
Not been in Peaky Blinders yet but heard it's a bit overrated. Vincent's not a bad pub but been a while since I was in there. My mum does own a Bar in Southport tho so I do pretty much all of my boozing in there these days and take advantage of the family discount. |

Peaky Blinders is a nice place, cheap as chips too, there’s a few of them about now. Is it worth asking which pub your mum has? |

It is but I gotta be careful in case anyone off here goes in and says it was recommended by me on a swingers site!
It s a new bar on Lord St next door to a very well known local Italian restaurant. I'd have PM'd you the details but I don't tick your profile requirements...
