"Lee child working my way through the jack reacher ones "

Great books, such a shame they chose Tom cruise to play him in the movie. Very poor choice in my opinion

Just around the corner

I’m a big fan of Ukrainian author Andrey Kurkov. His novels have that peculiar former Soviet comedy/drama thing down to a t. Death and The Penguin is a good place to start.

I'm reading Love Life by Ray Kluun. I'm really enjoying it despite it being almost unbearably sad.

On holiday recently I read Hotel World by Ali Smith (I think). It was boring, the idea was great but she took twice as long to say it as needs be.

There and to the left a bit

Currently reading Mauricio Pochettinos book about his life and Spurs 2016/17 season which is a great insight to life behind the scenes at a football club.

Will read most things that catch my interest although do tend to veer towards crime thrillers a lot.

Favourite authors being:

Peter James

Mark Billingham

Ben Elton

Favourite book ever:

Birdsong - Sebastian Faulkes

"Different" book to read:

The Bees - Laline Paul - Fictional tale about a new in a hive told from the perspective of a bee

I like Martina Cole and Mandasue Heller. Such easy books to read

Like Steven Leather and Harlan Coben also and John Grisham...ones like that

Tried to read Game of thrones books and only lasted 100 pages then gave up. If it has too many characters I find it too hard to follow

Best book I ever read was The Nemesis file by Paul Bruce. Only book I've read twice

My first adult book was Flowers in the Attic by Virgina Andrews when I was 9 or 10. Was hooked on books ever since x

I loved On the Road; it’s a great read once you get used to JK’s writing style.

Zen etc. On the other hand I failed to find profound, apart from the short section about what you can tell about someone from the state of their workshop and toolbox.
