Not to rain on your parade but it's probably bad. Don't take it personally.
Generally what they do is offer the job to a candidate and then let the others know once the 1st candidate has confirmed. That way they don't lose any face if the 1st candidate turns them down / isn't available and they go to their second preference. But if candiate #1 takes a while to make their mind up (maybe they are negotiating over salary) then everyone else doesn't get told anything.
Sometimes the company is just incompetent and take ages to get the internal approvals though. |

lol very true. I got confirmation I was not successful. I’m annoyed a bit as I wanted the job. But annoyed more as the interview was very informal. Well should I rephrase annoyed at myself for not expecting an informal interview. They asked some weird questions! But look it’s all a learning curve!

Bro, i got turned down by RBS in the summer of 2007. I thought i wanted that job... guess how many fucks I've ever since given about not getting that job! I'm just saying that you never know if your colleagues would have been cunts, your manager could have been a prick, maybe the company goes bankrupt in 6 months. Chin up. |
