Whilst driving through the locality, I was bemused to see a young lad, approximately 10 years old.
Proudly sporting a skate board helmet, with a spiky mane I noticed a go pro camera sticking up on a stand. Arms folded, with a BMX leaning against him he gave me his hardest stare.
Let's face it, were all a bit weird as kids...what was weird about you as a kid? |

Me and my brother used to put music on and in sync, we’d sit on the sofa and rock back and forth. Still, to this day, I have no idea why we did it. We were absolute tiny weirdos. |

I used to pop headphones into my stereo and record myself singing along to songs (i had a double cassette recorder on there).
Unknown to me my step-dad could hear me when he went to the bathroom and would go back downstairs and tell my mum how shite my singing was.

"I used to walk to my junior school avoiding every joining line on the pavements by stepping over them
"
Tread on a line, break your spine. Tread on a crack, break your back.
Your not the only one who did that.

"I was the only ginger haired... well bright orange haired.. kid in a school of around 1200.
I didn't need to be any more weird than that."
I hear you brother, although I was more strawberry blonde, but that was enough to get the shit kicked out of me! |

I used to do perfomances of songs from Prince's Purple Rain album for my parents on our stage every other night. I had the gear, the hair spray and the moves. I was a bit of an attention whore My parents banned me from doing it after a while...Tough crowd... |

My first handbag was when I was 4 or 5 years old, it had been my mums. I took it everywhere, school, shopping with family, relatives etc. It was a tardis and i learned to keep a little of everything in it. And hit boys with it sometimes. I must have been a pushy kid and gathered a reputation for trouble - I took the family business cheque book one time as i enjoyed writing them but it seemed right to have one in my bag. I was a junior Deborah Meaden fantasy in my head |

Wouldn't say it was I that was weird but whenever a dog saw me it would chase me and not playfully. We're talking teeth bared, barking and growling. Luckily I'd always manage to climb something.
And people wonder why I hate dogs now |
