If you are tested in January you are clear for the PREVIOUS year not the future one. 
STDs are NOT serious compared with some other non STD infections (Ebola, malaria, MRSA, necrotizing fasciitis to name but a few). They are just more embarrassing.
If you had flu you would be on Facebook telling everyone. If you had chlamydia you would not even tell your best friend. Flu kills, on average 11,000 a year in the UK whilst Chlamydia does not kill.
The answer is simple. Get tested at least every 6 weeks if you are casual having sex.  |

Some are deadly, if not diagnosed early enough.

Corn cob soaked in pigs piss and eucalyptus oil did the same thing for our ancestors. Then loo roll was invented as it was softer... but unlike Heineken it probably just didn't reach the parts....  |

If you get tested very frequently it establishes lifetime immunity, a bit like passport renewal long before its expiry date gives you longer validity. It starts to accrue compound interest like immunity. |

STD tests are very serious.
If you are tested in January you are clear for the PREVIOUS year not the future one.
STDs are NOT serious compared with some other non STD infections (Ebola, malaria, MRSA, necrotizing fasciitis to name but a few). They are just more embarrassing.
If you had flu you would be on Facebook telling everyone. If you had chlamydia you would not even tell your best friend. Flu kills, on average 11,000 a year in the UK whilst Chlamydia does not kill.
