Do people go down in your estimation when they "sell their story" i see Denise Welch is at it now, not that she was very high up in my estimation anyway

I suppose people will try to make money any way they can and if the general public didn't have such an appetite for any old tittle tattle they wouldn't make any money! I don't know anything about her but her hubby has been in some great telly. Z

I didn't think there would be enough for her to sell?

She's always got some detail of her life plastered across the media ..... or she's just plastered across the media.

To be honest I don't read any of their stories as I actually don't give a toss about their lives in this kind of glamorisation rubbish, would rather watch paint dry

Some Stars will sell there soul for publicity.

I am friends with someone famous have been for 26 years now and the story has never came out nor from me. I don't kiss and tell, we respect our friendship too much

When I was ill Aug Sept this year the person came and saw me and didn't care about the preSs or coverage. Just goes to show famous can keep their promises.

I agree with you there. Some people do go a bit funny when they get old though. I do agree with some things she has said, much prefer her more down to earth sister jackie though.

I think a lot of people want the limelight and a chance to be on the front of a magazine. Its all about self promotion and if us, the general public feed on it then who is wrong.

I look on it as people raking in the chance of a bit of fame, its so short lived anyway. These Essex people seem to be having their 5 minutes of glory at the minute. Those who choose to do it all well and good but don't moan about the lack of privacy when you've decided to sell your soul to the devil in the form of a gossip column journalist

Can't stand the woman and just feel so sorry for her husband (Tim Healy). He seems a really nice bloke, to good for her and needs a bloody medal for putting up with the way she talks about him on Loose Women. Which I've now stopped watching because of the way she goes on.

I do not see a person in good light to do something purely for money, whatever the circumstances.

Her hubby may be a nice bloke, but he is far to ugly for her.

What an odd thing to say! I work every day - purely for the money - does that make me a bad person? Confused! Z

I'd sell mine if someone would pay for it (. There is the point though. Their story has a market value so maybe they should go for it and cash in whilst they can

If a publisher saw something interesting that has happened in your life, let's say, how you lost so much weight, the reasons why and thought it could help others that read your story, would you still do it if you knew it could help people in the same situation? You would have some extra cash for doing the story and could treat your family with the money earned.

I suppose it depends on the circumstances, doesn't it? I mean there's a huge difference between telling people about your own trials and tribulations, and dishing the dirt on someone

Iwork in a private Hosp in London most of the people I look after are rich and famous. Most are hard work they basically need a wake up call. At the end of the day when we need an operation or any type of surgery we are all as important as each other. As a vip you dont suddenly have blue blood or anything else different, AND I REALLY HATE DEALING WITH THEIR PRIVATE SECRETARYS MMM i FEEL BETTER FOR THAT JUST HAD ANOTHER SHIT DAYXXXXXXX SORRY

If you are prepared to sell your story or the story of someone else for money, then all well and good, just be aware that you have little control over the end product and what could be unravelled about you in the process.

Yes

But I don't read gossip or celebrity magazines. Also very very rare for me to read a autobiography.

Well that is interesting, i have forms here to fill in for a magazine that where given to me. I havent made a decision yet of whether im going to do it or not.

The difference is, i dont get paid for it (you get a make over for the shoot). It is a specialized magazine for people on a certain diet. So if i decide to do it will be for the soul purpose of hopefully inspiring others.

Would i go in one of the general womens magazines where they pay you a fee? Then the answer is definetly no.
