I recently got back in touch with an old flame from 20 years ago as we lost touch when she returned to Australia. She still lives there and both of us have moved on with our lives obviously and there’s probably little chance of us meeting again.
However should I tell her that I consider her to be “ the one that got away” ...is it better she knows or not? |

I got told this on a school reunion. We were 12 when we went out lol
I thought it was sweet that someone thought of me that way. No harm in telling her as long as it's done light heartedly x |

Yep, tell her. What happens after that is within her control.
I shared my feelings with someone when logic said I should do otherwise. We never regretted a moment. I know I would have always regretted not saying anything. |

"I’d hope that it would be taken in the right way, more of recognition of how dear I hold her in my memory "
I would honestly make me smile. Just don't say it out of the blue. Make it flow in the conversation x |

Personally I don't see any problem with that, it could be quite flattering from her perspective, assuming there is no ulterior motive |

Depends if she’s single. If she’s not she may feel a bit awkward about it all and you lose a friend.
Weigh up the pros and cons.
Bit i think you should move on personally. The past is the past. |

Don't you dare....raking it all up might be ok for you...but what about her |
