Swinger spotting

This morning a small business near me that sells "upcyled" tat at vastly inflated prices shared a picture on social media of one of it's peculiar little items in situ in the garden of a satisfied customer. Now this garden was entirely made of decking, rattan furniture, pots with ornamental grasses in, and the clincher, a big ole' hot tub. As soon as I saw it I thought "I fucking bet that's a swinger's garden...

Do you ever "swinger spot"? Maybe clock the houses with a big-ass pampas grass out the front? Look out for a cheek Queen of Spades tattoo peeking out from a lady's clothing? Talk to me

Not really; the private sex lives of strangers hold no fascination to me at all.

Yes, your presence on a social network created specifically for swingers makes your disinterest abundantly clear....

** snicker **

And to answer your question, yes! We both do this a lot! Anyone who says they don't probably isn't particularly inquisitive by nature.

I usually look for swingers during Sunday service in church.

I don’t really get why you’d look for swingers!? What if someone actually likes wearing an ankle bracelet, or maybe they like certain plants outside their house.

Brighton - even Hove!

Brighton has loads of cafes and its a real sit outside people watching type of thing to do and so I often think ‘are they swingers?’ I can never tell.

My interest in people going about their daily lives outside of the Fab environment - the scenario to which you allude - holds zero interest. Apologies, I assumed you were referring to the subject matter of your original post as you wrote it

We very innocently owned a hot tub aaaages before we started swinging ... it’s was all about the bubbles for me

Always loved people watching and cant help myself thinking I wonder if they do about random people ... and wondering who out of our friends we think most likely

We do it quite often, usually we say to each other “oh you know they are naughty” or something. We spotted a couple just the other day when taking our daughter out for tea that we know are from here.

When we visit new places, we tend to look on “who is nearby” and see if we can spot anybody too. Spotted a fair few people in our time.

But here’s the important part...

Never. Ever. EVER Approach these people or make contact. Ever. Peoples swinger lives and public lives are two different beasts. You want to chat? You message us first, and then we chat. You come over to us when I’m out shopping with my little girl, and you will likely get a punch up the bracket. Be respectful of peoples privacy.

Aye, there's a world of difference between idly amusing yourself with people spotting, and actually getting up in someone's business and invading their privacy. It's kinda sad that people need telling.

When I first moved to my villiage I joked about the amount of pampas grass and said it's a swingers paradise..... turns out I was correct there are tons of swingers in my villiage 2 on the next 2 streets who I've recently met and I'm told it's full of them . But interestingly none of us have the pampas grass

So what happened to all the pampas grass that was there?

I openly talk about swinging and doing it, but I understand not everyone does. But when you talking to someone ( a friend or family) and you see someone walking past looking, listening or even joins in talking it's funny and if they don't talk you wonder if there interested or actually do swing lol

It's still there but none of the people who have it are swingers to what I'm aware of . Well they may have been 50years ago

So how does the allegorical pampas grass thing work? Do you notice it on a saunter through the neighbourhood, stroll up the driveway and say ‘yoo hoo, fancy a fuck?’
