I hardly ever do it. One of my friends actually pulled me up on it cos he puts one every time and was offended I didn't give them back

I only do it with friends in a reciprocal manner if they do I will, on here rarely; I've had someone on here take offence because I didn't add xx's, it's like being back at school sometimes...

It depends on the context, but I do sometimes.

I've even accidentally put a "x" on the end of emails to my managers

I only do it to my female friends or female family, actually I do it to my sons too if I’m texting. I feel rude otherwise. My ex wife used to get them too but I stopped once divorced. It’s all very technical you know.

I admit that I am starting to do it out of habit.

I actually got told off from a couple I was chatting to on here because I didn't put an 'x' on the end of my messages to them. They accused me of being 'cold'.

And I'm really not a 'cold' person....
