Do you ignore delete reply if you get a pm saying how nice your pictures/ picture is ?

Depends on my mood. Sometimes I don't feel like chatting and I know saying thanks often makes a guy think you want to talk more.

We normally reply but get irritated if the sender then starts to misinterpret the reply as an opportunity to send further messages.

If the message literally just says 'nice pics' afraid we generally just delete. Whilst it's nice to get a compliment that doesn't change the fact we don't engage in chatting. We may return the compliment should we feel the same, perhaps with an additional 'see you around the club scene' if they're local

I usually acknowledge someone who messages me about my photos. They clearly have good taste, a sense of style and a hint of the macabre.

No thank you - I’ve managed to block all men from sending me photos, messaging me and looking at my profile so I’m man-proofed.

No need of that. That's why there is a fab button.

Most of the time I will reply Thanks, but then get bombarded with further messages. Guys really misunderstand kindness with invitation.

I never get a PM complimenting me on my pics so it's not something I've ever considered before. I would say as a logical chain of thought that if I did receive such a PM then I probably wouldn't respond to say thank you - since it would mean future application of filters would no longer work.
