This morning I noticed an issue with an eBay purchase. Spent over an hour on their live chat trying to sort it out but all they would do was fob me off onto PayPal.
Eventually I gave up and phoned PayPal. Well that was an experience I never want to have to repeat!
When I got through the automated menu said there were high call volumes so I could either wait in the queue or they could call me back, wait time for a call back was upto 30 minutes. Needless to say, not wanting to endure the dreadful hold music I chose the call back option.
20 minutes later and the phone rings, I was very happy I answered and their system simply put me on hold in their call queue!
Two bloody hours to finally speak to someone!
In that time I went down to our allotment, ed, watered and then walked home. I relaxed with a cup of coffee, had a shower, prepped my lunch for work later and still that infernal music was blasting out from my phone!

for the amount of traffic ebay get you would think they could afford to have a helpline in each of its respective countries with actual humans to help you.
Why I've left it alone for awhile now. Trying to chase payments was too exhausting |
