Great news today!
I've managed to get back into Full Time work again! My first really "serious" job since February.
For those who weren't aware, my last job in mid-September lasted only 3 weeks and then finished, putting me back on the dole!
But I received an offer this morning which I accepted, and the confirmation emails have been exchanged.
I'm so, so happy. I'm returning to a past career, taking up a job I know I can do well, with a company who WANT me in the role.
The job is in Buckinghamshire, so that means I'll be leaving Hull (no regrets there!) The company provides a flat with the job.
But for the moment, I feel like I have won the lottery! |

"Congratulations Gen - can you find a job for me now please?"
Well, I'll try! To give you an idea, in 9 months I applied for almost 700 jobs; this week alone, I sent out 47 applications!
For anyone wanting accommodation with a job, try the Hotel Industry, the National Trust, and companies providing Managerial cover for Retirement Housing complexes or serviced accommodation blocks. |

Brilliant news, congratulations! That is a Herculean effort by anyone's standard and is thoroughly deserved.

"Excellent news mate we both made up fa ya
Know it's been a struggle for ya xx "
It would have been had I not got this job! I was 8 weeks away from having to give the keys of the house back to the Mortgage company.
I spoke to my Bank Manager today; he is amazed at how I only became overdrawn this week, after being made redundant 9 months ago.
I don't have to live frugally any more! |

Congrats pal. Never did a person more deserve a job than you. With that many applications, letters etc that you've sent out I'm surprised you didn't give up long ago. Well done. Enjoy! |
