So I'm not afraid to put on my profile that I'm bi-curious. However in the last few days alone I've had multiple guys message me.
When I've said but your profile lists you as straight, they say oh but I am bi.
Should I name and shame. Just purely because I understand that some women/couples don't want to meet bi guys. And they are obviously lying to the good people of fab?
So should I name and shame? |

Maybe block men from messaging you that will solve the problem. If you name and shame you will get a ban and achieve absolutely nothing.... |

What and how other people describe themselves is no concern of yours, if you have no interest in them simply block their profile. No one has asked you to be our protector, people make up there own minds who they are interested in, you just need to mind your own business and let others mind theirs. |

Many people would not be comfortable with opening up about their sexuality. Before it was as socially acceptable as it is now homosexuality and bisexuality were things that got people beaten up and in extreme cases killed.(this still goes on to a lesser degree these days) So if you want to "out" people on here that may be afraid to come out themselves for whatever reason then go ahead and do it but be aware that only a total cunt would do something like that. On a sidenote if someone outed a friend or family member of mine and they suffered in any way for it then the person that outed them would be one very sorry individual. Apart from that it's all good. |

OP just because we don't agree with people naming and shaming doesn't mean we are ok with being lied to.
If I come across someone who is a liar I simply choose not to interact with them and I block them - it's not difficult!
The problem with name and shame is this :-

I'm bi OP and wouldn't meet guys who are listed as straight who contact me because I figure if they're lying about that what else are they lying about - but that's where it stops in terms of it being any of my business how they list themselves.
I personally think they're deluding themselves when they have done so because they think it increases their chances of a meet but it's none of my business all the same.
Naming and shaming other profiles is against forum rules and that really is all the answer you need. |

Seriously? What age are you? Have you nothing better to do but to discuss and judge others sexuality? So what if they say bi or not? Some may find it hard actually considering themselves bi. There are all sorts of reasons to leave their profiles as straight. It's their prerogative. Name and shame? Pathetic in this instance.  |
