Am I the only female on here that doesn't get messages anymore?

Busy morning at work thought I'd log on in the hope something fun has popped up in my box but alas nada, zilch, nil.

The struggle is real..... I might have to go back to "real life" and try dating at this rate

I still get lots. I try to reply even with a no but then they get inspired to persist.

Being a nice person I would prefer just a few who arent cutting and pasting to everyone.

Never have had hundreds even as a single female. Sure, a few more if I had uploaded a new pic but never lots. It used to make me wonder whats wrong with me, why did some ladys get 1000's and I only had a handfull? Then I would look at these lady's profiles and pics and verifications etc and think 'nah, im doing just fine thanks'.

I've never courted attention like that, I've always replied to every message, even the rude and ridiculous, in a polite and friendly fashion and feel as a result Ive had a far more enjoyable experience on here.

If lots of messages help them feel better about themselves who are we to question them?

I don’t need the attention - or 1000s of messages to make me feel better about myself, I like getting to know people which is why I message them myself as well

It's not that lots of messages make me feel better or worse it's just a bit perplexing at times when you read women say they are bulk deleting as they've thousands and it's a blank profile with little text so how are there thousands of messages?

I send first messages. Most of the time read then deleted. I'm not saying I should sit and be inundated. Just that the social side of fab is deteriorating

I've noticed a sharp decline in number of incoming messages too... although admitedly my message filters are alot tighter than they were first time round. But it does means i can concentrate on chatting with those I really want to chat with x

Filters has a lot to do with it also area in which you live "

I believe it's the north east as I have no filters due to the fact I host events and I don't limit who can attend

I feel exactly the same, but you would be surprised how many message us saying 'cracking pics(

) love your profile, lets meet'.... I dont think men pay any attention to profile content and only a little to the pics. They just go to the Who is Nearby list and message the ones online now.

Any hole's a goal and all that.

Depends. If a load a pic i get lots of new messages.

If i don’t then i get a handful, usually from the same few folk. I certainly don’t get hundreds or thousands like some ladies.

I like to keep on top of my messages so quite relieved about that!

Get 5-10 messages a day with our filters on.

Normally about 2 indicate that they have read our profile and out of that I am lucky if 3-4 a week will have written more than one line of text.

Don't rely on fab for text conversations leading to meetings or it would drive you mad.

Usually read and deleted without reply which is fine as I'm not for everyone. I don't mind not being someone's type. I used to chat to lots of ppl who weren't my type and became good friends with them and never a sexual happening occured. Which again is fine .... just now if you're not into dial a hump it's tumble haha

I’ve only sent 3 messages in 4 months.

I used to play the numbers game and message loads. Engagement rate or interaction I’d say around 15% ish.

Messaging people has definitely lost its appeal these days. Seems like too much effort for minimal reward.

Might wait another month before I message anybody again. Reckon I should only message one person a month as a plan.

Over the course of a year I might even get a conversation!

Hmmmm I think a lot of girls/ladies completely ignore a lot of perfectly reasonable messages from reasonable guys because there are SOOOOO many guys and messages so thats understandable. But without the manners of a simple "thanks but no thanks" there seems little encouragement. I may not be the king but Im a decent looking guy, I make an effort with messages and hardly get a reply. Not even a "no thanks".... I do get it as I have spoken to girls and generally you can actually watch their message count going up. But saturation point gets reached and you lot have ignored every bloke in here, decent or not. That or already fucked them.

There's something fishy going on here

I've had 50 odd messages today, replied to about half so far, and no abuse yet.

When I don't want messages or I need time to catch up on replies, I apply my filters or hide.

The amount of serious abuse I've had in 3 years or so probably doesn't hit double figures.

I wonder why some people get loads of abuse and others don't. Be interested to see some stats on it related to age, single or couple, no of messages replied to, deleted/ignored etc.

We’ve been on here with this account for just over eighteen months , and our last time before this one was about two years ago . We would be inundated with mail then , we never are now and haven’t been since rejoining . Everyone we meet says the same , couples , single women , and guys .

The membership of the site hasn’t gone down , there are perhaps mor snow than there were then , so it’s odd .

And to show it’s not just the social side , we don’t do socials and never have .

I somewhat agree with this.. As I said earlier, and running the risk of being labelled all sorts here but the girls (bang average ones) seem to rule to such a degree, you'd think they were models.

Asha’s already been said repeatedly, many women aren’t getting hundreds of messages and don’t therefore bulk delete. What you may not appreciate is that women read profiles (in stealth mode so you don’t know they’ve looked) and delete messages from profiles that don’t entice. You may be Superman but if your profile and pics don’t show that then your message gets deleted.

I read the entire profile I sent a jokey message relating to one aspect of the OP's fantasies section and got a stinging rebuke as a reply due to the fact that I don't meet the criteria in the height requirements,if you're going to have such a long winded profile then you must expect a lot of people will not read it's entirety and a lot will be put off messaging the author.

Fair play flower.... Then they shouldn't complain about lack of messages if they cant read between the lines. Not everyone has a profile writing knack, doesn't mean they arent dynamite in the sack!

but you come across as too much like hard work in your blurb,your profile is too long most guys read the first couple of lines at most so maybe trim it a bit and you might get a few more replies.

I wasn't asking for a profile critique and if someone can't take the effort to at least skim read what sort of effort would they make in the bedroom?
