There is zero evidence for what is termed horny goats . It's also a huge genus of plant species, so you could be taking anything from a diverse bunch of plants. No evidence for effectiveness for any of this group that's sold, so a dangerous waste of money. |

"Anyone know of any herbs or plants that are a natural aphrodisiac?"
Increase or supplement with zinc, magnesium and high strength vitamin D3.
Cheap enough on eBay and very effective. |

Folklore suggested that bathing in Comfrey was rejuvenating and could restore ones virginity.
I wouldn't recommend it. We make our own liquid comfrey feed for the garden...it stinks!
Almonds, asparagus, avocado and lots more are listed as having aphrodisiac properties. |

I hate the term aphrodisiac.
That said certain things seem to help people 'find their mojo'.
I remember doing an placement in Denmark and the government was offering discounted holidays via a nappy company or something - if you can prove youve been trying and failing to concieve for a year. The reasoning being strong sunlight (vit D) exposure seems to stimulate and increase in production of sex hormones.
Excersise helps produce sex hormones too, especially if the workout is intense.
Certain foods seem to help. Ginger and chilli apparently help stimulate blood flow and a lot of nuts and seeds are rich in essential minerals required for hormone production.
Heat stress exposure (saunas seem to be the best also seems to increase production |
