Knowing that everyone has their own definition, what do people see as different between a tv and a sissy?
Does it come down to clothes, attitude or sex needs? |

A Sissy would be a really camp/feminine boy, not necessarily someone who dresses as a female...
A TV would be a guy who dresses in womens clothes, but doesn’t necessarily have the same attitude...
A Sissy could be a TV as well, but a TV doesn’t have to be a Sissy...

To my mind a guy dressed in just panties could be considered a sissy but not a TV
a sissy is a form of tv but with more ultra femme clothes that most women would not wear, and a lot more submissive
a sissy may think more about sex than a tv would (though of course some tvs like sex a lot) |

TV- transvestite a man that chooses to live as a woman full time( dressing and acting like but doesn't want a sex change ?) Is that correct??
CD- crossdresser a man that spends most of the time as a man but likes to dress up in female clothes
Sissy?? I don't think there is a clear definition for sissy probably mixture of lots of things?? you see lots of different ages using the sissy label for themselves??
But I'm only a CD and can't claim to be an expert on other people's choice of how they choose to identify themselves  |

For me a TV or CD are simply a descriptive terms of someone who likes to dress. The TV is more serious, and perhaps is smooth, dresses fully, and there is some effort to be convincing.
I identify as a sissy. I think this is both a process of feminisation and pushing boundaries. It is about taking on a submissive role such as a maid, slut, or young girl, (or manipulation, exposure, humiliation) and could be combined with cuckolding. This may not always be about sex, certainly not about your release, and most sissies crave an authority figure that will push their boundaries.
So for instance you might find denial fun for a few minutes, or even a few days. Once you are there you might accept a chastity device for a week, then another week, and eventually full time. The authority figure gives the rules and disciplines and you crave this as it is the interaction that is so important.
I do dress fully and pass as a TV, but inside I am a sissy 24/7 |

The term sissy is more of an attitude i think.... So its a sub playful attitude and often clothes that make that person feel very sub are ultra feminine or girly.....
Some sissies are tvs some are guys that just love to act in that manner.

To me a sissy tends be aligned with the dom/sub side of things, as the act more submissive.
They are portrayed to be wearing more French maids style outfits, they again are shown more in dom/sub roles.
A TV will try to look and act more feminine, with attire and their actions.
At least that is how I see it. |

The name Sissy is the old term for Trans, its stems from the word Sister...
The americans took hold of the name and changed its meaning , it was never to do with being subby or wearing frilly frocks and frilly knickers as its propogated today.. |
