I made Sharon Gless (actress who played Cagney from the American cop show Cagney and Lacey) a paper boat made out of her ticket to the Norman, Fosters and Rogers exhibition at the Royal Academy. We floated them on the water of Fosters’ model for a new London Bridge. She was lovely. |

2. I have walked in the Arctic and Antarctic circles.

I was in a small aircraft mid air doing a tandem sky dive.
One of the instructors had a meltdown and didn't want to jump out of the plane she said it was too cloudy.
Everyone was screaming at her "jump out the fucking plane"
I was next and had to go without a say in the matter.
And I had a hangover
The best bit of the story is on the way back we were all in a mini bus taxi and there was a random man we didn't recognise - it was the pilot hitching a lift back to town as he's lost his drivers license
20 years ago now - but every word is true |
