So telly has been quite rubbish this week, so we watched the Eurovision semi finals, tell you what some good songs
I’ll be watching tonight
Netherlands
Austria
Ireland
Cyprus
Spain
All really good

Not seen any of it but I will be watching much to the dismay of ads!
Nothing beats Russia a couple of years ago for me though with that wall lol.

UK will never win again until it abandons trying to be hip and trendy and embraces its rich heritage of gibberish song titles such as 'Boom Bang-a-Bang', 'Bing Bongy Bing Bong' etc.
In fact, I'm gonna write an entry for next year today, but I could do with some help with the gibberish song title. |

We liked Israel.
It's been a lovely family night discussing the crappiness of some of the songs. The veneers on the presenters' teeth, boob tape holding dresses in place and whether the flatter chested presenter had contour make up for her boobs.
We enjoyed the tension of the vote and the twist of what the public vote for. The public liked Israel.

I think the reason the UK doesn’t score well is more just other countries thinking we’re pretty arrogant and treat it all as a joke when they’re taking it a bit more seriously. That’s fair enough, even when we love it, we love it cos it’s a piss-take!
I thought Israel were great! And deserved to win...but I’m interested in how ‘political’ next year’s gonna get now  ! |
