Affect everyone else with their (bad) mood

Does anyone know anyone like this?

In the work place it's just horrible!

Can’t stand it in the work place either.

I’m a joy to be around!

"Fun suckers "

Try saying that twenty times fast

Yes, if they were a cartoon character they'd have a wee rain cloud over their head at all times

My mother. She's a negativity magnet

I solved it by leaving work early

I can't be arsed to have my joy hovered it's Friday FFS!

She's one of those women that's always unwell at the doctors every 5 mins, suffers from anxiety etc ...

I would feel sorry for her if she didn't affect everyone else with her mood.

Yawn - isn't it time for wine yet?

Brighton - even Hove!

We have a real mood hoover at work, always has a lousy weekend and never happy. I sometimes play ‘yes but’ with him so no matter what he says, I say ‘yes, but...’ and then come up with something positive.

Defo. "Sympathise with me. Feel and share my pain. Give me attention."

'Fuck off' is an acceptable response.

Is it?

Well that makes sense - she is self obsessed!

The worst thing about it is I can't stop thinking about her and having to work with her.

It's really getting me down

I used to sit within slapping distance of this woman who would say everyday how she hated the job and just wanted to quit. She's still there after 20 years.

Eventually, I quit.

I told one of my colleagues that at times it;s like having a dementor in the room just sucking the joy out of everything. It didn't go down well.

But one of the biggest triggers to my own mental health is 2 of my colleague's moods and behaviour. Itls completely draining

I'm quite good at ignoring them. That irritates them even more. And makes me more amused. I'm such a kid

Even though she's upset by everything!

It's ruining my weekend!

I'm changing my hours at work so I get an extra day off a week.

This means she will have to work with someone else on that day.

I pity them

Yes they suck everyone’s good vibes away. I avoid people like that, especially in my home life.

I can be a bit of grumpy old sod at work sometimes, but I try to keep myself to myself on the office when those days occur, I'm the antithesis of the phrase "misery loves company", I usually perk up again.
