I haven't been mocked since I was a child. Ginger girls tend to be bullied until their teenage years, when they evolve into flame-haired Goddesses - a bit like Pokemon - to be wondered at and adored. The MC1R genetic mutation is awesome |

One of my exes was a ginger. Being a natural redhead myself, it was a risk, but thankfully, the Universe was unmoved |

Yeah - and we can probably laugh about it now we’re adults - but my year 8 daughter (gorgeous long curly red hair) came home devastated from school on Monday. The ‘first boyfriend ‘ she was crazy about dumped her very publicly and unpleasantly - because his friends had teased him about going out with a ginge!
Try telling a nearly 13 year old that a decade from now guys will be falling at her feet! Xx |

Look at a ginger biscuit! It’s not ‘bright’ like a carrot! It’s a lustrous red/brown! Her hair is exactly that colour - and it cascades down in curls almost to her bottom!
As Bella Donna said (and thanks Bella) - it’ll probably be more like 5 years!
