Have you met anyone who you will never forget? If so why will they never be forgot?

A friend?

Someone you work with?

My good friend who I worked with he inspired me to do better things and was a gem. Unfortunately lost him 10 years ago but I think about him every day. Used to call him super Mario.

.

One of my best friends at school committed suicide when he was only 17. In a roundabout way it is through him that I met the father of my child. I remember and am grateful to my friend every day.

Mine was a girl I’d met when I was in my 20’s. We lived in different towns and she was loud, demanding, funny, gorgeous, gregarious definitely and extrovert! Total opposite of me.

We drifted apart sadly but I think of her a lot.

My boss from my old workplace. He was a lovely man.

I want a man who looks at me with as much love as he looked at his wife. He’d found his soulmate and it showed.

I have one person - Someone I can’t forget, won’t ever forget and actually never want to try to forget. She was the most incredible and funniest person who has been in my life. She was a lover, a partner, and above all she was my best friend. We had some bad times and we had some good. The good always outweighed the bad. And the best times were nearly always perfect.

I see you. In my dreams. Always.

I miss my dad and think about him lots.

More recently my fwb. Finished our friendship last weekend which was very sad for me, maybe not so for him?!

I'm trying my hardest to forget about him because it's still very raw and I'm angry at the moment. I'm sure the good memories will come to the fore once I'm over how it ended.

My first relationship after my marriage ended. Was at my lowest point and she completely restored my self belief and confidence. A lot to thank her for.

Hiding in the shadows

Too many to list, but the most important one, my dad.

He died just before my birthday, his funeral was the day after it.

This was the first year since he died I've actually done anything for my birthday

"My Grandad

Grandads are the best! "

They can be...I had one on my mums side who was a miserable old scrote (think Steptoe but less appealing), but my dads dad was a real grandad, always loved having us round and even had a look of Sid James....with the same laugh!

There and to the left a bit

People come and go, some make an indelible mark on your life no matter how fleeting the time you passed with them was, others become distant memories but they all shape you in some way or another.

There are so many people that have crossed my path down the years, some who I'm still in touch with, others who came and went, but most of them, especially those that made an impact, I remember in some way or another.

The one who I hold dearest though would have to be my Grandad, meant so much to me and although he's been gone for almost 25 years now, there's rarely a day passes that he doesn't cross my mind in some way.
