"If you want to visit sagrada familia or gaudi's unfinished cathedral save queuing time and booked a timed entry slot. Also you will get a slot to go up a tower in the lift as you enter. "
Great advice x |

Do the football tour. And last time I was there someone tried to pinch my rucksack. Lucky they didn't know that there was 7 of us.came out of a side street two guys started to push into me a third then pulled the bag of me.
Lucky two friends where in the shop behind me. And the other four close by. The guy with my bag ran straight into my mates.so keep an eye open . |

I've been 3 times, the first time me and an ex inadvertently stumbled across a concert that Jean-Michel Jarre was giving at the Olympic Stadium in 1993.
The second time, in 2002, I went with a couple of mates and there's a few bars that we visited
The last time I went was with another ex in 2009, we had to queue for nearly 3 hours to get into the Sagrada Família, and she booked the holiday for a week before the Barcelona v Real Madrid match |

Watch for the thieves and pick pockets in the tourist areas. Only take what you need with you.
The bus tour is good and easy way to get around.
Night life is quiet until much later than expected.
Enjoy the city |

More tips. We used the public transport a combination of trams and underground but you have to get a new ticket if swapping one to the other. Of course I used the Web site of sagrada familia to book tickets should have said. I also used the city tour bus they pass all the main attractions and have a book of discount tickets for casa batillo la pedera and so on. Park guell is pretty large to explore. Echo all the tips about pick pockets. La rambalas is nice to wander down of an evening. |
