Have you looked in Jaques Vert? Some of their items can be a little frumpy but some of it's nice and often neutral colours too.
There is also a nice Champagne dress on Elsie's Attic.

"I want something peach or champagne colour
Something midi length and not to tight
Just the dress.....no frumpy jacket
The wedding is in june"
How about lilac and champagne colour? Floaty and sleeveless |

I'm sat in House of Fraiser (or is that Frazer?? I can't see all the sign from here) waiting for my sister to choose a dress for my Nephews wedding. I think I'm the only brother here but plenty of men sat around looking like they've lost the will to live.
So as I'm here it's all I can recommend but I'm a bloke

"Not really leaving it late as I’ve been looking since January...........just can’t find the right thing to compliment the bridesmaids and brides mother"
My niece is getting married in a week and her Mum only got her dress last weekend! Good luck in finding what you want.

Always the case isn't it? When you're looking for something specific you can never find it!! How exciting though, I love a good wedding.
I would say Coast also but I expect you've already been in there. |

I second the idea of personal shopper at a decent department store like John Lewis. We did that at an independent department store locally for my Mum and the personal shopper got my Mum into a style of dress she would NEVER normally wear and looked amazing. Good luck. x |

Oh my aunt did this for her son’s wedding - on the actual morning!!! She had an outfit made but the quality was shocking!! Debenhams found her a stunning trouser suit to go with her hat & shoes xx

Ok a bloke butting in again
But
have you spoken to any other ladies that are attending? Only asking as I've been to wedding and seen the mother of the groom and bride in almost identical dresses. You probably have already but seen a lot of the suggestions are off the peg
Someone has suggested getting a dress made- that's not as expensive as you might think |

Yes I already know what the mother of the bride is wearing and I,ll be wearing nothing like that
Trouble is.....I hate frumpy age related stuff
I want something classy midi length but quite sexy
If that makes sense
I’m still looking
Not really a lot of time to be having one made I do t think
