My left nipple is really itchy today!

It's pierced as is its neighbour but it's only the left one that's itching.

I need to go out later but fear I will be looked at strangely for pinching my nipple through my clothing (the only way to de with the itch!)

Any significance I am itchy left nipple?

I sometimes get itchy nipples. My doc told me to use a plain moisturising cream such as E45 on them and when its especially itchy to use the Betnovate cream prescribed for my hands for Contact Dermititus (sp?).

" Any significance I am itchy left nipple? "

Good morning Evie. It’s your lucky day, I am Europe’s most eminent expert in this region - a region I refer to of course as papilla mammaria.

Without conducting a thorough inspection I would suggest you have what is technically known as itchyleftnipitis. This is usually a harmless condition that goes away without treatment after a week or so. However, the healing proces can be expedited with certain treatments involving tongues and ice cubes.

I would be very happy to give you a free consultation were our respecting locations more convenient. However, if you’d like me to confirm my diagnosis remotely then I’d gladly give it a go. Please send through as many pictures of the aforementioned area as possible. Every angle should be provided and for extra measure please also send pictures of right breast/nipple for an accurate comparison/assessment.

You don’t need to thank me now, just doing my job ma’am. Yours faithfully, Doctor Nip.

I had an operation on my left breast and it itches badly inside. Scratching the skin does nothing so I have to cup my breast in my hand and give it a good shake, as I squeeze it gently. That can only be done surreptitiously.

Not being alarmist but please get it checked. My friend had mastitis that began like that. Hopefully it's just a bog standard itch - most likely

"Moisturise "

If only someone here could suggest a suitable cream to rub into it

Of sorts, yes

Just don’t use your teeth to get the cap off

Yes, I can imagine it spurting out over you.

I may need a few moments here
