Have you tried tuning it off and on again?
Serious answer, if it fires up in the first place, then there shouldn't be a problem with the battery. I'm more of a mechanic than an electrician, maybe fuel starvation? |

"Starter motor ?"
A starter motor does what it says on the tin. If it starts then cuts out, then it's not gonna be that really is it?
As I said earlier, it maybe fuel or possibly a blocked air filter? |

"My car decided to be stubborn and took 3 attempts to start. The engine fired up then cut out.
Is it my battery... ?
"
Nope! if it were the battery it would not have started at all, more than likely a fuel issue. |

"I’d be looking at the following.
Fuel filter (if it’s a diesel)
Crank and cam sensors.
Stretched timing chain.
All common corsa faults."
Oh and the dreaded wet through water logged ECU problem too. |

Damn must be a time for shitty corsa's. We just went to get in ours and the fecker won't start Mr's gone to get a battery pack to test. Wouldn't be to annoyed but we only got it yesterday to say we're p'd off is an understatement x |

The spark plugs and ignition coils would be the first place I'd start looking if a car is hard to start and dies soon after it starts, take them off and look to see if they are all dry above and below the spark plugs |

There’s so many things it could be, you’ll probably need someone with diagnostic equipment to pin point what it is.
It could be something as simple as the fuel filler cap not secured properly.
Hope you get it sorted though |

It's ok today. Had batter checked with a metre thingy. Topped up from quarter tank of fuel to half, nice and tight... Running perfectly.
Had a new coil pack last year under warranty and 2 new sparks.
